Most people believe that men are only looking to date younger women, but that’s not true!
It’s easy for women to feel competition for men with women who are younger than them, but you shouldn’t feel that way. There are men that want to date women their age, and all it takes to meet and attract them is a bit of understanding.
This week, Robert Manni and I discuss this very topic to help you find Mr. Right: men who want to date women their age.
Focus on Your Shared Experiences with Men Your Age
The key to a successful relationship with a man your own age is experience. With a smaller age gap, it’s easier to relate when you have things in common, which is a great advantage over women who are much younger. When you share some similar experiences with the man you’re dating or hoping to meet and attract, you’ll be able to connect with each other on a deeper level. When topics like careers or life goals come up in conversation, it’s important to be on the same page and understanding. This way, you’ll be able to relate to each other more, opening the relationship up to many more opportunities.
When Communicating with Men Your Age, Show Empathy
When it comes to reality and the “real world,” men value a woman who can relate to their experiences and feelings. This concept revolves around feeling, and most importantly, empathy. When an older woman possesses empathy, she’ll be able to hold a conversation with the person she’s dating with understanding and will be able to communicate her thoughts and advice more clearly. When you have empathy, you’ll be more easily able to understand and to relate to the hardships and joys he’s experiencing, such as finding a new job or celebrating an occasion.
